Ever since I was a young child, I always felt comforted by and hugged by the long branches of the trees. I love that the trees have seen many things in their lifetime and still have looked out for me. I find myself relating to the heaviness they hold, or the eagerness they possess, or their flowering hope as seasons come and go. It's why I capture those feelings in my drawings.

My name is Lauren Eve Scheff. I am a self-taught artist living in Nashville, Tennessee. I have been drawing ever since I could, and my mother still has most of my artwork in boxes stored in my parent's basement. The tools I use to create my art are recycled paper, pens, and ink.

Apart from drawing, I am a musician, a writer, and an entrepreneur.
